William Shatner Brought Metal To Riot Fest Two Nights In A Row

William Shatner spent the weekend boldly going where Captain Kirk had never gone before: into heavy metal.

First the 95-year-old blew minds Saturday night (9/19) at Chicago's Park West. Then to prove it wasn't all a crazy beautiful dream, he did it again at a much larger venue, Sunday (9/20) at Riot Fest.

As he was on deck on the starship Enterprise, on stage Shatner is flanked by an impressive crew.

U2 Returned To The School Where They Formed To Debut “Silencio”

U2 went back to where it all started Friday (9/25), taking over the yard at Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Clontarf, Dublin, for a surprise set in front of about 1,000 students and staff.

Fifty years ago, 14-year-old Larry Mullen Jr. pinned a handwritten notice to the school board that read “DRUMMER SEEKS MUSICIANS TO FORM A BAND,” Bono, David Evans and Adam Clayton eventually answered the call.
