Katy Perry is taking a curious approach to supporting her new album, 143: she seems to not be that interested in hitting the road or beginning her Lifetimes Tour until next summer.
That made the crowd at her recent Rock In Rio even more lucky because her live appearances will be relatively rare unless there’s something up her sleeve in regard to future tour dates.
Currently the only dates on her schedule are a one-off at next weekend’s Australian Rules Football grand final, and then a handful of dates down under next June.
In Rio, Perry got the Brazilians on their feet by opening with the new song, “Women’s World.”
