After kicking off the Ride Lonesome Tour Tuesday (9/22) at the Santa Barbara Bowl with a 24-song set loaded with live debuts, Beck returned home to Griffith Park on Wednesday (9/23) for a 23-song night at the Greek Theatre that swapped out six songs, added four others and rearranged the setlist.
The Grammy-winner began last night with “In the Night,” one of the new songs from Ride Lonesome that he live debuted in Santa Barbara.
But instead of segueing into the album’s title track, as he did Tuesday, Beck detoured into the just-as-mellow Sea Change (2002) with “The Golden Age” and “Paper Tiger.”
