Janet Jackson live debuted a pair of new tunes and dusted off a few others in a re-jiggered set for her Together Again Summer Tour 2024 in the Coachella Valley.
Miss Jackson probably would have done this last month in Las Vegas during the Lovers & Friends Festival, but Mother Nature would not cooperate.
Thus the 11,000 fortunate fans at the relatively new Acrisure Arena were privy to being the first to hear “Take Care” and “With U,” both from 2006’s 20 Y.O.
Did Janet find an old cassette of 20 Y.O. in between the cushions in her limousine? Because about this time last year she live debuted “Get It Out Me” from the then 17-year-old album, and then on Tuesday she doled out a two-fer.
