Aerosmith kicked off their Peace Out… Farewell Tour, which the Boston legends say is their goodbye.
Way back in 1970, singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Ray Tabano, bassist Tom Hamilton, and drummer Joey Kramer formed Aerosmith. In ’71,Tabano was replaced with Brad Whitford.
Two years later, in January 1973, Aerosmith released their groundbreaking self-titled debut which featured “Mama Kin” and “Dream On.”
The dream has lasted over 50 years. Aerosmith have won four Grammys, sold over 150 albums, and laid out some of the best straight up rock music ever, including the infectious mashup with Run DMC. for “Walk This Way.”
