Hi Twitter

RT @crockpics: Pat Benatar with her band in a gritty Los Angeles warehouse during the autumn of 1980. With Crimes of Passion racing up the charts behind tracks like Hit Me with Your Best Shot and Treat Me Right, Benatar redefined what it meant to front a hard rock outfit. Caught by rock photographer Neil Zlozower.
When MTV launched on August 1, 1981, Pat Benatar’s You Better Run was the second music video ever broadcast, making her the first woman and first American solo act seen on the channel. Do you remember watching those early days of music television? Oct 2, 2026

Heller, a San Antonio local, received the call just hours before taking the stage.

"I still have no idea what happened! Next time, I hope I get more than a few hours to try to learn the songs… and hopefully I would actually be able to move the drums into a comfortable playing position for me… but this is a night I will never forget!"
