Temple of the Dog was a tribute to the fallen grunge singer, Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone. The supergroup was comprised of two members of that band, a pair of Soundgarden friends and one Eddie Vedder.

In the heart of the Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood sits the unassuming Metro, originally called Stages, and then Cabaret Metro.Despite having intense competition from the nearby Cubby Bear that was older and even closer to the cathedral that is Wrigley Field, The Metro helped launch the careers of many once-underground bands of the '80s and '90s.

Setlist History: Devo’s Infamous 1975 Ohio Halloween Show

Devo were booked by their soundman in 1975 as a joke to open for experimental jazz artist Sun Ra at the WMMS-FM Halloween Party. The results were hilarious in retrospect, but at the time some attendees were so upset with Devo, their music, and their antics they were forced off the stage with the threat of violence.
