Lollapalooza Berlin 2025 marked the festival’s 10th anniversary since its debut in the cosmopolitan city in 2015. It began at Tempelhof Airport that year and has moved venues over the years—including Treptower Park (2016), Hoppegarten (2017), and since 2018, Olympiastadion at Olympiapark.
The 2025 edition took place July 12 & 13 at the historic Summer Olympics site that hosted the 1936 games where the Black US track star Jesse Owens won four gold medals while the Fuhrer watched and had to eat his words about what constitutes the master race.
Odds are he wouldn’t have cared too much for the incredibly diverse lineup at this year’s Lolla that featured Black country phenom Shaboozey, women’s rights activist, as well as not one – but two – KPOP stars J‑Hope and IVE.
Also on the bill were Justin Timberlake, Armin Van Buuren, The Last Dinner Party, and Dom Dolla on Saturday; RAYE, Benson Boone, Brutalismus 3000, and Royel Otis performed on Sunday.
