Guitar hero Jack White kicked off his 2026 North American Tour in the nation’s capital on Friday (7/10) and in Brooklyn on Saturday (7/11) with a deluge of hits, classics from both his solo era and when he led The White Stripes.
But the centerpiece of the setlist were a heavy dose of new rockers from his brand new album, Frozen Charlotte, his 7th studio LP as a solo artist.
Of the 26 songs he delivered in DC, 30% of them were from the new wax. Then the next night in NYC, 25% of the songs were off Frozen Charlotte.
Each night received a little special treat. In DC, White live debuted four new tunes: “There’s Nobody There,” “Nobody Knows,” “All Alone Again,” and “You’ll Never Fix Me.”
The fans who made it into the Brooklyn Paramount got to brag about being able to see and hear Jack’s daughter, Scarlett, fill in on bass for a few numbers.
Around halfway through the show in Brooklyn, Scarlett and her father and the rest of the band played The White Stripes’ 1-2 punch of “Cannon” into the Blind Willie Johnson cover “John the Revelator,” and then another White Stripes beauty, “Black Math.”
