The always edgy Lily Allen performed her first full concert in seven years when she took to the stage in Glasgow Monday (3/2).
And staged it was as the 40-year-old singer songwriter, who has been focused on acting of late, as well as theater, presented the night as a theatrical one.
Allen live debuted a majority of her new album, West End Girl, in a production that came across as more of a one-woman musical than as a typical concert.
Even the opening act didn’t fit the mold we are typically accustomed to see and hear.
The Dallas Minor Trio warmed up the sold out Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with instrumental arrangements from Allen’s previous works.
