Lorde, who wrapped her Solar Power Tour in April, has emerged this month with a number of festival appearances around Europe which have included new music.
After laying low for a few months, the 26-year-old got right back on the stage in early August with a newfound appreciation for pop and a lighter approach to her oft gloomy music.
On August 6, at the All Together Festival in Ireland, Lorde unveiled what she told the crowd was “the ‘Night Vision’ edition of the Solar Power Tour.” There on the Waterford stage she fiddled with the arrangement of “Mood Ring” by interjecting the long whole note from the intro of “400 Lux.”
As if that was not mysterious enough, a few days later after her gig in Oslo, Norway, the Kiwi took to her seldomly used Instagram account to clear things up with her 10 million followers.
