MARINA’s long-awaited return to Australia finally arrived Tuesday (2/24) at Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, Australia, ending a 15-year absence with a set built around reinvention.
The show doubled as a regional launch for the Welsh singer-songwriter’s Princess of Power Tour, anchored by material from her sixth studio album of the same name which dropped last month.
When she last performed in Australia on January 3, 2011, it was at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton during the 58-date The Burger Queen Tour.
Then known as Marina and the Diamonds, the set was exclusively material from their debut LP, The Family Jewels.
