Doro Pesch, the “Metal Queen” jammed recently with the remaining members of Motorhead.
Doro and Lemmy of Motörhead had been friends since 1985, a day before Warlock was signed. Doro and the band were rehearsing for a showcase with a prospective record label when she decided to take a break and pop her head into a nearby pub. None other than Lemmy Kilmister was chain smoking and downing Jack & Cokes.
Doro was starstruck but built up the nerve to join him. They drank so much the legendary bass player had to remind the blonde beauty she needed to make the showcase.
When she got on stage for the suits she was less than 100% but she didn’t care, she had met her hero. Everything else would be gravy.
