Paul Simon may have taught the world 50 ways to leave our lovers, but eight years after his Farewell Tour, he has yet to find a successful way to leave his true love: performing.
The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter announced a new tour whose tickets go on sale today featuring music spanning his six decades of song.
At 84 years-old, the tour will just be comprised of 20 dates, but they will be in classic venues from The Hollywood Bowl to Red Rocks to Forest Hills Stadium.
Born in 1941, Simon has seen modern music evolve and mature as he has. He was 13 when Chuck Berry helped invent rock music with his first major hit with “Maybellene” in 1955, and 22 when the Beatles invaded the United States in February 1964.
