Squeeze and Boy George covered the T-Rex classic “Get It On” Tuesday night in Central Park’s SummerStage in New York City.
It was the first time for Squeeze to cover the tune known in the US as “Bang A Gong (Get It On). George has performed the Marc Bolan hit 135 times in Culture Club and 27 occasions by himself.
The musicians are currently on the Squeeze Me Boy George USA Tour 2024.
Squeeze, fronted by Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford, are also celebrating their 50th anniversary (just like Iron Maiden, Kansas, Journey, and Judas Priest).
