Foo Fighters tipped their cap on Saturday (6/27) to the four fresh fellows that put Liverpool on the musical map, when Dave Grohl et al covered the Beatles on the second of a two night stand at at Anfield Stadium.
Now a dozen dates deep into the Take Cover 2026 Tour, each show clocked in at close to three hours long, with songs being pulled from their entire catalogue of three decades in rock.
While many would be pushing their newest record (in the Foo’s case it’s Your Favorite Toy), the most recent material accounts for less than 10% of the setlist.
The song of the night for the second evening was the cover of The Beatles’ “I Want You” (She’s So Heavy)” from their 1969 classic, Abbey Road.
