Lionel Richie and Earth Wind and Fire kicked off their co-headlining tour August 4 in St. Paul, Minnesota and it was a dance party of hits.
EWF, who were once rivals to Richie’s Commodores, opened the show with an epic 24-song set, squeezed into 75 powerful minutes.
Armed with a full horn section, singer Philip Bailey knocked out the hits with his famous four-octave range and unbelievable falsetto.
Bailey may be best known to some ‘80s kids from “Easy Lover,” the 1984 duet he did with Phil Collins, but you wont find it in the EWF set.
