Kacey Musgraves arrived on horseback on a sweltering Saturday afternoon (4/18) at the cozy Mojave tent at Coachella.
A last minute add to this year’s fest, Musgraves made a name for herself in 2019, the last time she was at the festival, when she tricked the crowd into saying “Yee Haw,” and hilariously scorned them for their eagerness.
After her abbreviated 13-song set was completed it made many wish they had booked her for both weekends in a larger venue, but sometimes it is what it is, and we should be happy for what we have.
The entrance was so simple, so cool, so on-the-nose for a country star to pull off at a polo field surrounded with paddocks and even security on equines, it makes you wonder why it hadn’t happened before.
