Lorde proved she is still in royal form when she kicked off her Ultrasound World Tour in Austin this week where she unveiled songs from her new album Virgin in front of a sold-out crowd of Texans.
The 28-year-old New Zealander packed ’em in on Wednesday (9/17) at the Moody Center, the 15,000-capacity arena on the University of Texas campus.
The gig marked one of the first live introductions of material off Virgin, her fourth studio album, which came out on June 27 on Universal.
She co-produced the LP alongside Jim-E Stack, with additional contributions from Dev Hynes, Dan Nigro, Fabiana Palladino, Andrew Aged and Buddy Ross.
