Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism World Tour has included a creative touch that has not only made each show unique, but it has filled audiences with hometown pride.
At each of her stops this year the 3x Grammy-winning singer has performed a surprise cover by a local artist as a tribute to the country or city she’s rocking.
The concept kicked off with the Oceania run in March when she began the leg with songs like AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” in Melbourne and “Never Tear Us Apart” by INXS in Sydney.
There she was joined by Troye Sivan where they performed “Rush,” which quickly became a trend as other big names joined her. The next night Vance Joy appeared to sing “Riptide.”
