Los Angeles' X are going to call it a career very soon. But being punk rockers they probably won't do it in the traditional way, so if you hear they are playing in your town you should probably see Exene, John Doe, Billy Zoom and DJ Bonebrake while you can.
The legendary band has been playing on borrowed time in a way since 2015 when Zoom was diagnosed with an aggressive pancreatic cancer. Now 76 years-old, the guitarist is still rocking, albeit seated when performing, thanks to a successful regiment of chemo which has made him cancer-free, he says.
