Michael J. Fox, playing a Fender Stratocaster while in a wheelchair on stage with Coldplay at Glastonbury might be one of those moments no one in attendance will forget.
The 63-year-old actor best known for his roles in “Back to the Future” and “Family Ties,” has never retreated into the shadows after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1990.
In front of a capacity crowd he jammed with the British band for two songs, “Fix You,” and “Humankind.”
Fox strummed along on the guitar while Coldplay singer Chris Martin sang “if you never try, you’ll never know” as thousands of lighters and glowing bracelets illuminated the throngs at Worthy Farm.
