Kacey Musgraves’ new album, Deeper Well, became available just last month and her record label has already released four singles including “Too Good to Be True.”
Last night in Dublin, Ireland, she found something even deeper in that well of original material, and delivered it to the audience at the 3Olympia Theater: the unreleased song “Irish Goodbye.”
What a better place to give the track it’s world debut, and what a better time than as the last song of her of the second of two nights in the Irish capital before she heads off to Holland?
One of the best traits of Kacey and her songs is her edge, sometimes bitter, and often biting. “Irish Goodbye,” a farewell to a past lover who ghosted her, is vintage Kacey Musgraves.
