Let’s propose a new rule: No one can turn off Lana Del Rey’s mic going forward.
Someone cut the singer’s set short Saturday night when they pulled the plug on her as fireworks lit up the sky, leaving her to do nothing except smile that beautiful smile before ultimately leaving the stage, gracefully.
Later the festival apologized on social media.
“Due to an error by the Reading production team, we accidentally cut Lana Del Rey’s incredible set short by 5 minutes,” the festival’s official IG wrote in its story, “we apologise unreservedly to Lana and her fans.”
