Lana Del Rey, for many, including yours truly, will be the most important artist at this weekend’s Coachella festival.
It will be just her second time performing at the polo fields of Indio, returning, finally after a 10-year hiatus when she wooed fans from the Outdoor Theater Stage with hits like “Born To Die,” “Summertime Sadness” and “Blue Jeans.”
She also live-debuted “West Coast” that April night in the desert.
Now that she has graduated to the main stage and will probably be bringing her dancers, background singers, and have access to the enormous modern video screens, here’s a half dozen songs I hope she places in her set.
