Sabrina Carpenter kicked off her much anticipated Short N’ Sweet Tour in Ohio last night, September 23, to a sold out crowd which was treated to eight live debuts from her chart topping album.
The Short N’ Sweet album is currently number one on the album chart for the third consecutive week. Taylor Swift has been the only other person to have gone three straight weeks at #1 this year, when she did it withTortured Poets Society.
One could argue that Sabrina’s singles, however, are more of the soundtrack of 2024, especially “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” But I’d never do that, for I fear Swifties.
Regardless, what a perfect time to tour, to spread the word from one of the most popular artists who charmed festivals all spring and summer and has now embarked on her first arena tour.
