Dua Lipa sang with two music legends last week, the first was Elton John at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The 29-year-old superstar covered John’s “Cold Heart” near the end of her show at the 153 year-old British venue. It was the second time the pair had sung the tune from John’s The Lockdown Sessions album. The live debut was at his last of three gigs at Dodger Stadium in 2022.
Lipa and John have performed three times, the first was at the piano legend’s Oscars party in 2021 where they sang one of his (“Bennie and the Jets“) and one of hers, “Love Again.”
You may recall earlier this month Dua spent two consecutive weekends headlining Austin City Limits where yours truly predicted, “only five of her 17 songs were from this year’s Radical Optimism. Expect that to change next month.”
