Billie Eilish’s new album Hit Me Hard And Soft was one of the most anticipated of the year and she’s done everything right to make it successful.
First she joined her idol/hero/role model Lana Del Rey on opening night of the first weekend of Coachella. The very next day she did a surprise DJ set at the Gobi tent where she played a recording of three songs from HMHAS for the fans while dancing around happily.
She’d later call those days in the desert, “the greatest weekend of my life.”
A month later she hosted a listening party at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn two days before the album dropped and she danced around the middles of the arena vibing to her own new music as her biggest fans cheered her on from the stands. It was super beautiful and wholesome.
