Soundgarden Joined by Carlile, Momsen at Rock Hall Performance

Soundgarden, the legendary Seattle grunge band originally fronted by Chris Cornell, who alongside guitarist Kim Thayil, drummer Matt Cameron and bassist Ben Shepherd produced a number of essential albums beginning in the mid 1980s, now have their spot in the RRHOF.Their induction into the Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday (11/8) was a bittersweet one because on one hand the honor was long overdue and worthy, but it also reminded music fans what a loss Cornell’s death has been to both the culture as well as to his family and friends.
