Paul McCartney got back on his Got Back Tour with a bang in Montevideo, the capitol city of Uruguay.
The 82-year-old legend has taken most of this year off of touring but got back in the saddle in South America by performing the AI-aided controversial new “Beatles” song, “Now & Then” which was released last November.
The Uruguayans were beside themselves with joy.
The song was one of the John Lennon demos Yoko Ono had on cassette that she gave to George Harrison, Ringo Starr and McCartney in 1994. On the cassette were three songs, two of which (“Real Love” and “Free As A Bird”) were able to get cleaned up and placed on the Beatles Anthology collection.
