For once Sunday did not come too late as Robert Smith joined Olivia Rodrigo on the last night of Glastonbury (6/29) for a pair of classic Cure bangers.
The 22-year-old pop star has continued her streak of dueting with silver foxes old enough to be her granddad.
You may remember earlier this month the 3x Grammy-winner danced around with Talking Heads frontman David Byrne at the Gov Ball across the pond in NYC.
From the festival’s flagship Pyramid Stage, Rodrigo introduced the 66-year-old Smith as “the greatest songwriter to come out of England,” which is certainly an opinion shared by the 200k in attendance.
