Olivia Rodrigo continued the extremely slow rollout of her much anticipated forthcoming third album with a surprise set at Primavera Sound on Saturday (6/6).
To add to the surprise was a guest appearance by the Barcelona’s festival’s best-known headliner: The Cure’s Robert Smith.
Together the pair performed an adorable live debut of their new song, “what’s wrong with me” which will be on Rodrigo’s album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which drops on Friday.
This is just the seventh appearance the 23-year-old has made in 2026, and merely the first where she has performed a relatively full set to a ticketed audience for the public of more than a few hundred people.
The last time she performed more than a handful of tunes was last month (also in Barcelona) for a Spotify invite-only event.
