Justin Timberlake had a fantastic summer of 2003 that lead to his SNL hosting debut that October.
The former N*Syncer was supporting his first solo album, Justified, by co-headlined a 45-night tour with Christina Aguilera with the Black Eyed Peas opening. If a 22 year-old Timberlake can’t move units with a tour like that, presented by MTV, nothing could.
When the tour was over he was tapped by Saturday Night Live to be the host and musical guest for the October 11th show, the second of the young season.
JT performed three of the four singles he had released off Justified, “Rock Your Body,” “Senorita,” and “Cry Me a River.”
