Bruce Springsteen will never be known as someone who doesn’t give his all when on stage. Now in his 70s, he’s still delivering epic sets with few breaks, that can go on for hours.
But there is a theory that when he plays New Jersey, New York, and LA, he gives it a little bit extra.
After two nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, it’s hard not to sign off on that thesis.
Thursday, April 4, Bruce and his merry band rocked the arena that was once home to Magic Johnson’s Lakers and Wayne Gretzky’s Kings for three hours and 20 minutes. He opened with a John Lee Hooker classic, rolled out some tour debuts, and even had a romantic duet with his wife, Patti Scialfa.
