On August 4th, 1979, in support of their forthcoming album, In Through The Out Door, the mighty Led Zeppelin returned to their home in England at the vast Knebworth Festival.
The band had been on an extended break after the tragic death of singer Robert Plant’s five-year-old son Karac who succumbed to a stomach virus.
The tragedy devastated the singer as his boy was the apple of his eye.
Plant immediately stopped drinking and shut down all the stereotypical rockstar extravagances and holed up with his family.
