Curated by Questlove of the Roots, The Hollywood Bowl’s huge stage was brimming at the seams with ’90s stars like Queen Latifah, Common, Digable Planets, Arrested Development and many others.
40 tracks were played on a perfect night as a prelude to the BET Awards which were held the next day.
The epic night was broken up into three sets, which seemed more like two and an encore. The first featured The Roots backing up Digable Plantes, Common, Black Sheep, Arrested Development and the Pharcyde.
