On Thursday October 19, The Rolling Stones treated an intimate crowd of just over 600 fans to a mini-concert that featured songs from their new album and special guest Lady Gaga.
The Stones, now with drummer Steve Jordan live debuted “Angry,” “Whole Wide World,” and “Bite My Head Off” from the recently released Hackney Diamonds, to celebrate their latest LP. The offering is the band’s 26th American studio album.
Newer numbers were nicely mixed in with classics “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.”
The opening tune which had its live debut in 1978 was particularly cheeky as it is still so emblematic of NYC where the surprise show was held.
