Olivia Rodrigo, everyone’s favorite, gave fans a treat this week when she performed in the ridiculously beautiful Theatre at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA to a mere 1,500 lucky fans.
And then the gig, which was professionally filmed, was posted on her YouTube channel, the next night, October 10.
What devotees got to hear was seven of the 12 tracks from her new album, Guts, along with cute stories she told alongside her co-writer and producer Dan Nigro.
While the performance was acoustic with the accompaniment of Nigro on piano or guitar, a small trio of background singers, and a second musician on keyboards, 20 year-old Rodrigo’s voice was so outstanding, she didn’t even need any of those nice people.
